Brickles was originally inspired by an illustration in a roleplaying game handbook. Not owning the rights to use that specific image, I tried to approximate it.

What I came up with looked quite different, but I loved it. When I evolved the image a few times, I came up with this image.

The inspiration had no tail. The first cool reconstruction seemed to -- or maybe it could've been a single tentacle. The first evolved images didn't that curious appendage.

So... I might try to work in that "tail" to see what happens. Alternately, I could develop that stump under her right arm -- which is a new feature. (Does it house a retractable tentacle, perhaps? Is it simply a malfunction in her regeneration? I haven't decided yet.)
