Dreamscape: A Walk Through Town

"Somehow, I fell asleep with the radio on. Next thing I knew, I was walking on the streets of Maine after heavy rain swept the town. Puddles pooled on the streets but the sidewalk was dry and safe to walk on. As I made my way down the street, I spotted a vintage red car rumble past, its polished exterior gleaming in the muted sunlight. Also, I couldn't help but admire houses lining the street. People went about their day, some jogging, walking their dogs or chatting with neighbors, while others tended to their gardens. The Northern Red Oaks that lined the sidewalks were a striking sight, their leaves ablaze with vibrant hues of red. But as I continued my walk, something seemed amiss. I looked around and realized that no one was carrying smartphones or any gadgets. It was as if I had been transported back in time to the 90s, a simpler era before the digital age took over.
