First prompt taken from the Bible verses in John 19 about Jesus' interaction with the Roman soldiers and authorities. Second prompt includes some words in English and some in Amharic, because in the Stable models the language you use can have an effect on the imagery. As a Christian, I believe that Jesus came for all peoples, not just the Europeans who show up in so much of our religious art.
So anyway, when I first tried making these, I discovered that the word "crown" tends to produce something gold and shiny. I borrowed from other translations and paraphrases later in order to fix that, but I like this picture as it is.
'And the soldiers wove a crown of thorns and put it on his head, and they dressed him in a purple robe... So Jesus came out wearing the crown made of thorns and the purple robe. Pilate said to them, "Behold the man!"'
