Thaddeus Ross / Red Hulk (Earth-241)

Captured and experimented on by both Hydra and A.I.M., Ross was given the ability to transform into Red Hulk when he was exposed to radiation siphoned from the Hulk. Using his new powers, Ross escaped and became a sort of anti-hero. The defeat of Hulk remains foremost on his mind. Red Hulk has superhuman strength, durability, and endurance, comparable to that of the Hulk. He is capable of absorbing radiation, which his body can metabolize for increased strength. Unlike the Hulk, increased anger does not make him stronger, and he emits increasing heat instead. The upper limit of this heat has not been specified. This heat creates an aura of light around Red Hulk, and can melt desert sand into a glass disc at least dozens of feet in diameter. At this level, Red Hulk weakens and he can be knocked unconscious by the Hulk in a fight. Ross can transform at will, but chooses to stay in his Hulk form.
