Azuka is the matriarch of her clan and commander of their Clan Ship (which is shown in the image).

She is definitely an unorthodox matriarch in that she uses her sense of logic, wisdom, and practicality to lead her people - who are known to be rather war-like despite their very colorful appearances.

Many respect her for it and many look to her when faced with a difficult decision. However, there are also many clans that resent her for not actively seeking to conquer worlds and fighting other species.

Azuka, while still a powerful warrior in her own right, knows when to choose her battles. It is not a matter of pride or honor, but that of knowing when to back down and learn an opponent's weaknesses and using it against them in whatever way she can.

And now she has set her sights on Earth. Both out of curiosity and to see if there are warriors to test her clan's skills against them in battle.
