Nightwolf is a fictional character and antagonist in the Mortal Kombat fighting game series. He first appeared in Mortal Kombat 3 in 1995 as a Native American shaman who helps defend Earthrealm from Outworld. Nightwolf's real name is Grey Cloud, and he is a proud warrior and historian who is in contact with Raiden and the Great Spirit through visions. In Mortal Kombat (2011), Nightwolf dies during an invasion of Earthrealm and is resurrected as an undead Revenant by Quan Chi.
