H.I.M. — His Infernal Majesty — is a cheerful little claymation demon with a permanent grin, questionable judgment, and an alarming habit of treating the horrifying as perfectly ordinary.

Each misadventure sends him somewhere new: driving a living car down an endless highway, wearing a carnivorous bunny suit through a haunted forest, ruling from a throne that bites, or simply deciding to be Dracula for the evening.

The world around H.I.M. is genuinely sinister. He isn't. Probably.

Monsters adore him. Shadows follow him. Ordinary objects become creatures around him, and ancient horrors seem to know him personally.

Nobody knows exactly what H.I.M. is or where he came from.

He doesn't care.

He's having far too much fun.

“Evil stripped of grandeur. Innocence corrupted without being destroyed. A tiny would-be lord of damnation discovering that existence is far more ridiculous than evil is prepared for.”
— Channel 13 promotional advertisement for The Misadventures of H.I.M., 1987
