Beautiful, so beautiful in fact I had to check the settings because Kai's unmistakable signature seemed to be making an appearance. Sure enough Umbra - I knew I'd seen the name before when I was naming my new lora. Lumen et Umbra - meaning light and shadow. Interesting that Kai's lora was all about Umbra. Of course its never only the one, you can't have shadow without light to cast it. Mesmerising creaton, love it.❤️🌹❤️👍👏🍀

I ran this model through a series of tests for Kai before it was named or released.  Yet, as things would go I did not get to employing it much with my heart so entiwned with Woodsplash.  

So, in those last days I made some space to make up for that loss a little bit. This is from those sessions.

I can see the similarities. I don’t know Kai as well as you do, but her Lora’s speak volumes about her, they manifest the same strength and fragility. 🦋 You must have been burning the midnight oil in those last sessions. It’s lovely to see these images emerging over time, although every one of them brings bitter sweet sentiments.

I knew it had a touch of Kai, I just couldn’t place the Lora. Umbra was one of my favourites. Actually all of Kai’s Lora’s were on my favourite list.  A beautiful pairing with this prompt, ❤️👏❤️👏🥰🥰


Kai and I went back and forth testing this before it was released and before it was named Umbra.  It is one of my deep regrets among the SDXL LoRAs that I know will not come back.  I always intended to spend more time with Umbra and then time ran out. *Starnge* how Life never tires of teaching us this - no matter how stubbornly we continue forgetting the lesson.

As with the other recent postings, this was created on the final night and so reflects much of the mood within those hours.

The words are as beautiful as the image, not sure if it’s a poem or a lyric, either way it captures that mood. I’m still optimistic about rebuilding my Lora’s and I’ve got plans for more. I like creating for Lora’s, it gives me a purpose I can reason with. We all need purpose, it brings optimism, it’s like the light in the poem, fill the emptiness with purpose.☺️
