The Dragon Orbs were powerful artifacts that were created at the end of the Age of Dreams during the final desperate hours of the Third Dragon War. Wizards of all three colors, Red, White, and Black, saw what would become of the world if Takhisis took control and agreed with each other to unite to create a weapon to destroy the Chromatic Dragons. The three orders met at the Tower of High Sorcery at Palanthas on a night when all three moons were full. The greatest mages created the orbs that night with the assistance of the gods of magic. Once they were created, each orb was given to one of the five Towers of High Sorcery, but some were moved around and other destroyed.

Just a silly idea! 

I didn't even know about weird things like dragon rolls until I visited the US and Canada in 1998 as they were not considered typical sushi rolls back when I lived in Singapore and the sushi was directly influenced by traditional Japanese sushi and sashimi as many of the chefs were trained by Japanese sushi masters and menus were designed by Japanese chefs. 

Seems as the sushi popularity blew up in North America, people decided to make them more fancy with lots of futomaki creations featuring colourful toppings and unusual mixes and ingredients (compared to the traditional ones featuring fish and vegetables common in Japan) with mayo and avocado etc which have become more widespread in the past 25+ years.
