Elder Brood

Behavior:

Primary Goal: Spread its spawn to any remaining human survivors, achieving full dominance in the area. It is drawn to the scent of the player, instinctively recognizing them as a threat.

Abilities: The Elder Brood can spawn Pupsters and Ravagers on command, using them as shields or distractions. It emits a fear-inducing pheromone, which makes the player’s vision blur, temporarily slowing movement and impairing aim. If injured, it can burrow into the ground, only to re-emerge with a devastating attack that knocks back players.

Weaknesses: Its central “heart” is the only true weak spot, and it can only be exposed during certain phases of the battle. The player must navigate waves of Broodlings while avoiding powerful close-range attacks to reach this vulnerable area. Explosives are effective, but the risk of injury from its attacks is high.
