Audio Tracker: The Chained Maw is sensitive to noise and will respond to player actions like camera switches and door closures. It gradually moves toward sound sources, forcing the player to be cautious about creating too much noise.
Forced Restraint: If the Chained Maw reaches a doorway or vent, it will attempt to break through by repeatedly banging its chains against it, producing a loud rattling that shakes the screen. Players must initiate a lockdown on that door or vent to rebind it, preventing the Maw from fully entering.
Surprise Lunge: If the player fails to respond quickly enough, the Maw can break its chain restraints for a brief moment and lunge forward for a sudden attack, ending the game. Players can only stop this by triggering a distraction sound in another area, forcing it to retreat temporarily.
