Title: Burt the Brown Cat

[Artist statement: How this story came to be is because of an adult friend with a disability: Autism and she has the innocence of a child. She's very loving. She had a brown cat named Burt. She wanted a Burt story in pictures.
The story outline: He's bored. He has dreams. He wants to see other places. Do other things. Most of all Burt has a restless feeling. He has to find out what he is missing.
Burt takes a few days figuring it out, and then calls a meeting with his farm animal friends. They listen and support him. But they will miss him and wants him to come back. He sets off. At each stop, he feels the freedom, the joy, the wonder of everything around him.
In the city, he visits his family. They also support him and are glad he has decided to feed his need to see the world.
From there, it is Paris.he sees and paints the Eifffel tower beside other artists . Next , he visits the Louvre, explicitly for the Mona Lisa.
He stays for hours looking in awe at the mysterious Lady . Filled with so many feelings he finally realizes it is time to return home . Back on the boat , he sails for America
In New York City, he fulfills his dream of stuffing his belly with vender hotdogs. He also watches the Rockettes dancing. He's tired. He wants a proper nap at home !
Once more, he travels home and arrives with the excited news of his adventure. He shows the album with his pictures, glad he will have it to refresh his memories.
As his friends gather around on the porch, he is overcome by the realization, the journey was a discovery of finding his self, his true home and he is satisfied entirely. He has his dear friends. He is happy..]
