A competition for AI storytellers

Who do you become through the journey of life? When the sun shines bright and the stars twinkle all night, you sit alone under the sky and marvel at the sight. But.. what happens when you're around everyone else? You become a tool, a sort of spare part, that you let everyone use and throw apart. You don't say what you need, you quietly disappear, you make yourself so small that nobody can hear. You wonder to yourself, "Why is it so hard to choose myself first?" Because, nobody taught you to love yourself, you don't know where to begin. You yearn to be set free, fly away from all these responsibilities, you do not want to be the one everyone relies on. Yet you do find joy when they find your shoulder to lean on. Empathy is what defines you, binds you to this life, it is your identity of strength and not your weakness. These wounds left scars but it never altered your heart, the wounds are deep and sometimes they don't let you sleep. But.. they also remind you, that when you're pulled apart by decisions of this and that and everyone else, you do not run, you show up. You always show up, you always listen, and that will always be your greatest strength.
