A competition for AI storytellers

Aphantasia's Wrath is a deeply personal series — visual manifestations of a mind’s eye that has always been blind. For months I refined AI prompts in an attempt to externalize something I can intellectually grasp but never see or imagine. Out of a curated collection of over 280 iterations, these four animations best capture the relentless internal friction of aphantasia. The demonic figures, with their void-like gazes and erupting psychedelic colors, embody the painful contrast between rich ideas trapped in total mental darkness. Thick, dripping paint and chaotic smoke pour violently from their eyes, mouths, and horns — a haunting metaphor for thoughts and images that constantly dissolve before they can form. Though not clinically labeled a disorder, aphantasia feels like one to me. It sabotages nearly every aspect of my life as a mentally ill artist — crippling my creative process, and even deeply impacting my religious and spiritual practices. It is a near-constant daily struggle. This series is my raw expression of that frustration, and my defiant attempt to make visible what has always been invisible.
