[The Girl Falls Through the Ice a true story]

[Scene one: A pretty, blue-eyed lady with long wavy blonde hair wearing a long reddish plaid winter coat that is almost down to her knees. She is wearing laced up white ice skates. She has no gloves on. She is walking out on a large mountain lake in the High Sierra. There is a handsome man with brown hair and eyes with winter clothes on that is with her but standing a small distance apart. On the shoreline is another brown-haired man with his Border Collie dog that has a blue eye and green eye. They all look happy to be outside at the lake to skate on this sunny winter day.

Scene two: The same girl in scene #1 starts skating out and gets a little further away from everyone else. They are trying to hear something she is saying to them. She has a concerned look on her face as she is looking down at the ice. The man closes to her has his hand up telling her to go out as he starts to follow her out to skate. The other man and dog are happily watching. Everyone is happy.

Scene three: The lady's concern was warranted as the ice cracks, and she goes into the icy mountain lake water with her head just above the water trying to get herself out. She puts her hands on the top of the ice trying to pull herself out, but the ice keeps breaking.

Scene four: The lady starts losing her strength, the man tried to help her, but he falls through the ice too. The other man is crawling on his belly toward her, the dog backs up to her as she puts her hand on the dog’s hind legs to be pulled out of the ice. The lady and man are still in the icy water and the other man is on his belly crawling. They are all out in the icy water cracked water. They are scared and not smiling.

Scene five: The lady, two men wearing the same wet clothes are with the dog back on shore, cold, wet, scared and in shocked, They are sitting huddled together on the ground facing toward the icy broken water they just fell into. They are thankful they are okay. ]
