Yet, in the endless slaughter, something fractured within him—some say it was exposure to a shattered shard of Argent energy, embedded in his core after a battle with the Night Sentinels.

That wound became a seed of doubt. And from doubt… came rebellion.

REDEMPTION: Malgrith turned on his own legions during the Siege of Nekrath and was eventually captured—not slain—by the Sentinels. While many called for his execution, the Doom Slayer sensed something unspoken. Rather than cast him down, the Slayer offered him purpose.
