About Ads on NightCafe
Ads suck, but the upside is more creations for all!
Everyone hates ads, but showing ads on NightCafe allows us to give you more creations for free. We've recently updated the daily topup process to be much more generous, and ads help us pay for that. You can turn off ads by going PRO.
In the past, NightCafe ran ads through an external ad network. This had many downsides - it made pages load slower, sometimes caused bugs that were impossible for us to fix, and we had very little control over the things being advertised - so we eventually turned them off.
This time, we're running ads in a way that puts us in full control. For now, all the ads are for Audible, and we earn a small commission if you click through to Audible and make a purchase.
The NightCafe user experience is important to us, so we've tried to keep the ads to a minimum, and we're not using intrusive ad types or ad positions. We're aiming to show just enough ads to allow us to continue to offer free and earned credits to all users.
