If you grew up with a pen in your hand and a weird streak in your soul, Alan Moore wasn't just a writer—he was a seismic shift. For me, Moore’s work was the ultimate "aha!" moment. He proved that comics could be dense, literary, and uncomfortably human. Whether it was the rhythmic pacing of Watchmen or the occult-drenched history of From Hell, his world-building sparked a fire in my younger self that never really went out.

Lately, I’ve been channeling that inspiration back into the digital ether. Using NightCafe, I’ve been reimagining my own version of the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. It’s been an incredible process—blending Victorian aesthetics with sharp, modern AI-generated grit to bring these icons to life in a way I’ve always seen them in my head.

Henry Jekyll was scared as he clutched his medical bag in a damp alley near Whitechapel. His nostrils filled with the scent of Sulphur, although no one around him smelt it. He felt a shadow grow and twist into a mass of muscle and anger. The doctor found himself being absorbed into that mass. 

Edward Hyde; he loomed in the ether, a mountain of rage beneath a tattered hat. He was the consequence of the formula Jekyll has found. The doctor’s hands shook as he felt the beast’s hot breath on the back of his neck, then the wind rush inside him from the centre of his skull; his whole head under pressure. 

Murray appeared at the alley entrance as she planned, and moving quicker than lightning she whispered in the creatures ear, and vanished. Don't appeal to the doctor, but his evil twin.

He had no choice. The League needed a wrecking ball; Hyde's promise of violence. 

For now Harker would be followed, until some sun-up in the near future. He would pause chaos.

The deck vibrated as the turbines screamed. The recruitment had begun. Nemo was the first to answer.

Campion secured his protection and went into the night. The game was no longer about detection; the queen had awarded his license to kill.

Ms Harker would have moments to convince him in person, or she would end like many others.
