It's a matter of opinion but I reckon bottom-left is particularly good - has alot of punch, in the way contrast :) 

Problem I'm having is how to get things centered so that they are not cut off in the scene 

I actually think the off-centre composition suits the bottom-left creation. Most of the focus is on the derelict & detailed facade bordering one side of the street, and the silhouetted figure.

What you're alluding to deffo effects bottom-right. I'm no prompt guru but I'd try adding 'perfect composition' and/or 'centred composition', as a photography 'spec' orientated entry, to whatever prompt you're using.
