This was a short test of the "pan up" setting. With that setting, the image moves upward as if you (the camera) were moving down. The term seems to be used in reverse. I think of the term "pan" as it relates to the motion of the camera. (Also, I removed the offensive proper name during the 'evolve' process, to see what it would do, although maybe I should have left it in.)
