Why are you so kind, you ask of me It's simple, really, can't you see? For in this world, there's pain and strife And I strive to bring a little light I treat others as I would be treated With love and kindness,

never defeated For no one should feel alone or lost Or suffer silently, at any cost

I am the friend that you can count on No matter what, I'll never be gone Even if you hurt me, I'll still be there To share my love, to show I care

But sometimes, it seems that no one understands The effort I put into lending a hand It's a thankless task, but still I try To make the world a better place, before I die

So why am I so kind, you ask of me? It's because I care, can't you see? For in this life, we all need love And I'm here to give it, from above.
