Okay so I'll say it. There are many pictures in the Portrait competition that finished 10.01.25 that are objectively better than my submission. I know art and taste are subjective things, but someone needs to take a look at the rating systems for contests. This isn't about anyone's particular submission, or fairness, but more an exposure issue. We all think our submissions are a š because we submitted them, yet time and time again I see wonderful works ranking low because the fact of the matter is, no one saw them in the voting process. /complaint <end>
