Well now, look who just danced across the Sea of Japan and sashayed into the realm of legends! This lunar saunterer in full kimono regalia clearly just won the Celestial Balance Beam Gala in Gifu. For her efforts? She’s awarded the Golden Firefly Lantern, filled with whispers from the 14th-century poets of Kamakura.

Let me tell you, I once balanced a porcelain goose on my head during a typhoon in Dubrovnik while reciting Bashō haiku. Alas, there was no prize, only applause from confused marmots.
