My work doesn’t begin with a concept. It begins with a faint feeling.The light moves first, the wind shifts first, and the paper slips find their own direction.
What I do is closer to observing—
watching where the image wants to go, instead of forcing it somewhere.Along the way, I suddenly felt that
letting a few of the paper slips glow would make the whole emotion click into place.Some feelings become transparent when they’ve been left to steep long enough.
They slowly take shape in the night.I simply catch those moments that have already ripened,
and let them speak for themselves.
