Happy Ishtar! When the Sun overcomes the dark Winter.

The pagan celebration of the return of the sun after a long, cold, dark winter was given an altogether different meaning by the Christian holy fathers. Yet rabbits and eggs, symbols of fertility, were kept! The name Ishtar, the Goddess of fertility, sounds a lot like "Easter" to me. 🤷 So Happy Ishtar to you - especially if you live in the cold north!
