Ishmael from "Maledicta"

Ishmael possesses a Soulstone staff, which is the result of a complicated spell cast on Wrymstone that allows it to encapsulate souls as well as magic. It is, of course, forbidden to create one of these constructs. Many of those who have been trapped within a Soulstone never return to their bodies the same. They are known to cause paths of destruction where ever they travel, and lead it's bearer inevitably toward the temptation of harboring as many souls within as can be safely held. These volatile stones have been known to explode violently when their "capacity" has been breached, or if the stone was put under immense pressure.
