Such life, such death,
to forget a human thing,
and to feel a cashmere sky,
as I ascend, as I ascend.
The band Abraxas, alongside Collage, is one of the most prominent rock groups in the Polish neo-progressive music scene. The band has its roots in late 1987 (specifically on October 29, 1987 - on Łukasz's birthday) when Łukasz Święch and Adam Łassa established it, naming it Abraxas. The inspiration for the name came from a mythical character in H. Hesse's novel "Demian", representing the deity of good and evil forces. From the very beginning of its existence, the band's compositions have focused on the theme of the struggle between good and evil, becoming highly characteristic of the musicians' work.
