I don't know if you know this, and maybe it's why you've included Paul Temple in your opening paragraph, but Ron Grainer, who wrote the theme music for Doctor Who, also wrote the theme music for the BBC television version of Paul Temple. Anyway, excellent picture and a great start to the story. 👍

I remember there was a TV show "Paul Temple" There was even a temporary collaboration between the BBC and German television in the early 1970s.But I didn't see much of it back then. Film adaptations of Francis Durbridge were immensely popular in Germany at that time. They were called "street sweepers", the streets were empty whenever a new film was shown.
