After Peine had left their table, Linn and Wei stared at each other in silence for a moment. A random drunk stumbled against their table, belched loudly, and continued to sing a smutty song before passing out under the table.
Wei frowned while Linn smirked. I'd have half a mind to join in, she mused. But if our harper friend is going through with her insane idea of a plan we will need all our brains.
Raising an eyebrow, Wei replied: I suppose you're right. Do you believe she is being honest with us?
Linn shook her head. Nah. Them harpers are charming alright, but... She stopped and scratched the back of her head, her curls bouncing. Failing to come up with a witty reply, she shrugged. She's hiding something. Probably better for her, too. I wouldn't trust myself in her place. How did she get you to come here?
