It appears that NC staff are h-o-l-o- caust deniers. 
As can be seen of the original image there is no depiction of violence or murder. The image is of an inactive gas chamber of the type that have been preserved for the moral education of school students through school excursions & pictorial evidence in school books about the atrocity. There is the ghost of a single child to represent the human cost of the atrocity. (Ghosts, skeletons, demons and various other horror images are otherwise acceptable on NC).
As can be seen in the following accompanying image (see comments), This image does not breach the G, PG rules of their daily challenge and in fact there are many books aimed at teaching children about the atrocity from grade 1. This is an essential part of children's education in order for them to develop the cognitive skills of empathy, compassion and moral reasoning.  It is why North American Fascists are now banning them. Why is the atrocities name banned on NC as well?
