The yellow oozes are unique among the primitive jellies in many respects. The first and most obvious is its conspicuous color, which is easily noticed in its subterranean habitat by any potential prey that can see. Also absent from the yellow ooze is the corrosive acids common to others of its type; the yellow ooze prefers organic prey, and as such utilizes poison instead. Since living prey tends to fight for their lives, the yellow ooze has also evolved a remarkable regenerative quality, making it especially hazardous to an adventurer.
