Cindy’s long blond braid swung cheerfully as she slid a perfect cappuccino across the counter to Michelle. “Extra foam, just for you,” she winked.
Michelle, a sophisticated woman with silver-streaked hair, raised an eyebrow. “Thank you, dear.”

Michelle chuckled softly. “Honey, I’m old enough to be your grandmother.”
Cindy’s smile only widened. “Good. I’ve always wanted a really cool, hot grandma.” She slid a napkin with her number written on it beside the cup.
