If I recall, this was the first film to use "Sensurround". The audio technology came to fame in "Earthquake" (1974), but a beta version was deployed in this McClure classic. Although some of Troy's fans thrilled to its realistic underwater sounds, many suffered severe intestinal distress from the acoustic pressure and others stumbled out of the theater in the midst of psychotic breaks.
