Masterpiece Monday

I was inspired to make this creation after seeing a number of images of dandelions growing out of concrete. It reminded me of one of my favorite poems, written by the late Tupac Shakur, called "The Rose That Grew from Concrete":

"Did you hear about the rose that grew
from a crack in the concrete?
Proving nature's law is wrong it
learned to walk with out having feet.
Funny it seems, but by keeping its dreams,
it learned to breathe fresh air.
Long live the rose that grew from concrete
when no one else ever cared."

Haha, i like to think it does not necessarily need to involve elements of the macabre or be horrific... a good hug can go a long way! 🖤 Perhaps this creature is simply misunderstood, and requires some warmth.. and then he will feel compelled to spread the warmth and seek to use those flowing tendril like appendages to hug others and possibly use his powers to help them...then, the people shall no longer recoil in fear and all shall be well! 🖤 Sorry, i get a bit carried away haha. Awesome creation, by the way! I love the obscure, dark and mysterious. You have inspired me to watch some Junji Ito 😊
