Drekavac 3

Continued from Drakavac 2: Drekavac normally only come out at night or in dimly lit places, spending the rest of their time hiding from the sun. They are not damaged by sunlight, but it causes them pain and they will flee from it. This is good because anyone touched by a drekavac's shadow is affected by the same effects their cry causes, though their shadow is more likely to cause a long lingering death than a sudden one. While they do not kill frequently they may do so regularly. The need their prey to live in a constant state of terror, and so if their chosen community starts to lose fear of them they will escalate their terror tactics up to and including killing people. In these cases they choose their victim carefully in order to instill the most fear in the target community.
