Liliara the Sundewheart" was once a tender fairy who nurtured life with every touch, her wings dusted with pollen and her voice a hymn to spring. But when her love was betrayed—mocked, twisted into a weapon against her—her heart ruptured like a poisoned root. In her final moments of anguish, she chose the transformation, surrendering to the storm of hurt and fury. She died in the soil of her garden... and rose as Lilithara the Witherbloom, a deathfairy whose every step is both an ending and a beginning.
Now, her garden is a cathedral of lethal beauty. Flowers shrivel at her passing, only to resurrect as grotesque mirrors of themselves: roses bleed black nectar, lilies hum with hypnotic pheromones, and violets grow teeth. She tends them with mournful devotion, for they are all she has left—until her soulpartner arrives.
Her name, evoking lilies and light turned into the wisper of Lilith and thorn.
