The Last Turn of the wheel

A dramatic stormy coastal scene featuring a weathered wooden windmill perched on a dark rocky cliff overlooking a turbulent ocean. The sky is filled with swirling storm clouds and patches of deep blue. Several seagulls, painted in thick white impasto, soar through the sky at varying distances. Below, large foamy waves crash against the rocks, their white spray contrasting with the dark greys and blues.

With its visible, textured brushstrokes, the overall mood conveys raw natural power and isolation — a lone windmill standing defiant against a hostile sea.
