Honoring George Kooymans: An Unfading Legacy
Created a year ago · 5 comments· 0 likes
HiDream I1 Fast
George wasn’t just a founding member of Golden Earring, he was its heartbeat. His riffs carved their way into rock history, his lyrics etched into the minds of generations. Songs like Radar Love and Twilight Zone weren’t just hits; they were electric lifelines, pulsing with his unmistakable energy.
Even now, in the silence he leaves behind, his presence is everywhere. You hear it in the opening chord of a song on the radio, in the crowd chanting at a concert, in the memory of a moment shared through music.
George Kooymans gave the world music that refuses to fade. He may be gone, but his strength, his passion, his soul, those remain.
He will be missed, but never forgotten.
The echo of his guitar still plays on.
