The part I entered / the return
It will be dark soon and we have completed all our chores
we'll have to wait til the 'morrow if we want to see more.
The shadows grow long
There's no more bird song
We can only hope to have a better night than day
And make it carry us forward and onto our way
_Twilight's Embrace
In twilight's embrace, we stand,
Chores complete, hands clasped,
Awaiting the morrow's promise,
When dawn will paint the sky anew.
The shadows stretch, elongated fingers,
Reaching for the night's cool embrace,
And the birds, once raucous choristers,
Now rest their wings, silent witnesses.
Hope, our faithful companion,
Whispers in the gathering dusk,
Promising a better night than day,
Guiding us forward on our journey.
So let us linger here, between worlds,
As the sun dips below the horizon,
And dreams take flight on night's canvas,
Carrying us toward an unknown dawn._
