Moxie Diffusion XL v1.6 Lightning
The nine-tailed fox is a creature in East Asian mythology that appears in Chinese, Japanese, and Korean folklore. It's known by different names in each culture:
🇨🇳 jiǔwěihú (九尾狐)
🇯🇵 Kitsuné (狐)
🇰🇷 Kumiho (구미호)
In each culture, the characteristics are similar: A shapeshifting creature which can disguise itself as a beautiful person. It often tricks people and causes illness, misfortune and even death.

Thanks for the historical context of the Kitsuné. This makes me wonder if the Kitsuné comes from Chinese folklore even though I've only ever heard the Kitsune term (mostly due to my love of Japanese anime (sub not dub usually)).
