1994: Overnight stays [Story in the comments]

So great to read a happy story right after Harald's Revenge. And the Finni in the creation radiating with happiness. As you know I wished I would have been allowed sleepovers, too. But what I haven't told, I think, is that in retrospect it's ok that it didn't happen with the one in question. All the more wonderful that Finni had both - a boy worth the memories and the cool parents allowing it! I had to chuckle reading about the sweat cure. Reminds me for some reason of another friend who actually never said that, but would have totally him, lol. Speaking of which, the sweat cure, that is: Hope you are feeling better.

1994: Overnight stays January 1994

Part 1. “Mom?” Finni drew out the vowel so long that probably every mother in the world would have known that a big request was coming. Finni was embarrassed by the intonation, as at 14 he no longer felt like a child. “Yes?” replied Elisabeth. Now the actual question had to come, but Finni feared the answer.

Steve and Luke had been Finni's best friends for five months now, Danny even longer. The four boys sat together at school. They met every Friday and sometimes on other days too. They were wonderful moments, but Finni suffered every time he couldn't stay with his friends longer. [You can read the story here:]
