You’ve really bought the 1900s photography prompt to the fore with this portrait. It’s really a portrait of a memory, isn’t it. ‘Homesick for places we’ve never known’. So many memories mixed up with imaginings, sometimes it’s hard to discern the reality from the longed for yearning found in imagined realities. Another question from Davinci, why are our dreams so vivid in our minds eye, while our waking imaginings are soft and sometimes fleeting.
