Varko “Doorcleaver” Hark is a half-orc barbarian built like a landslide with opinions. His sword, Horizon-Shear, was forged from the iron brace of an old fortress door, a practical relic turned into a ridiculous slab of steel. To Varko, a door’s job is simple: keep danger out. His blade’s job is even simpler: put danger down. The skulls and chains on his gear aren’t decoration so much as warnings, trophies of threats that tried to become a problem for his people.

Perched on his shoulder rides Nib, his tiny scout and battlefield consultant, a sharp-eyed little companion with a spyglass and the nerve to critique giants. Nib calls targets, spots traps, and tugs Varko back from “hit first, ask later” moments. Together they are a walking storm front: brute force guided by a pocket-sized tactician, protecting others with a mix of ferocity, loyalty, and surprisingly careful aim.
