Her voice was like magic, enchanting and captivating. She sang of love and loss, of adventure and danger, of heroes and villains. She sang with passion and emotion, making the listeners feel what she felt. She sang with skill and grace, making the lute sound like an orchestra. She sang with power and charm, making the crowd follow her every word.

Some of the songs were sad, and she saw tears in the eyes of some of the patrons. Some of the songs were funny, and she heard laughter and applause from the audience. Some of the songs were epic, and she felt the excitement and awe of the listeners. She sang for an hour, but it felt like a moment. She sang for a hundred people, but it felt like a personal conversation. She sang for herself, but it felt like a gift to the world.

She finished her last song, a ballad about a brave knight who sacrificed himself to save his beloved. She bowed to the crowd, who cheered and clapped for her. She thanked them for their kindness, and told them she would be back tomorrow. She left the stage, feeling happy and fulfilled. She was Allura Wathen, the singer at the Hidden Pearl, and she loved her life.
