āField Notes on the Petalborne Scribe of Valldemosaā
Awarded: The Golden Crescent of Floral Lore
In the dusky meadows just east of Valldemosaāwhere almond blossoms whisper to the salt windāthereās a legend of a moon-attuned scribe who transcribes the dreams of flowers. Each petal she pens becomes a fragrance in the wind; each sigh she writes echoes in the groves. Her script is visible only by lunar bloomlight.
Back in 1637, monks in PollenƧa recorded similar sightings, believing her to be an āAnima Botanica.ā They left out saucers of ink steeped in poppy milk. She never drank them. Only breathed the scent.
