Johfra Bosschart

Johfra Bosschart (Franciscus Johannes Gijsbertus van den Berg; 1919 – 1998) was a Dutch artist known for his Surrealism and Visionary Art paintings. Bosschart was largely self-taught and began his artistic career as a graphic designer and illustrator. Influenced by symbolism, mysticism, and esotericism, his works often depicted otherworldly landscapes inhabited by ethereal beings and mythical creatures.
