Tōru Tsunoda is a Japanese poet from the 1900s. His peers often called him cold, inattentive, and unsociable. But really, he’s stoic and imaginative. By imaginative, I mean he daydreams often and is an expert in lucid dreaming.

His dreams are so vivid, by the time he wakes up, he grabs a paper and pen and start writing poems based on his dreams. His poems are characterized by the use of sharp and direct words, and because they’re based on dreams, they’re often surrealistic in nature.
