Their fins act like curved lenses, warping light around them to near invisibility, making them nearly impossible to detect except under very specific conditions. When seen under full moonlight, they reflect starlight and moonbeams in arcs of prismatic flashes, appearing as ghostly streaks or ripples in the water. Their eyes are perfectly spherical, silvery orbs with natural light-diffusing lenses—rare alchemical treasures.
