We could only guess why your craft had vanished - but if my guess was correct, it had tried to protect itself from being drained by our core.
Bastet and Horus were not sure about this, but I was adamant. I thought we could use the stolen power to fuel our own craft. That is why I went down into the basement at night alone. I needed to be sure.
