Like most places on Galor, Cyra has many legends about people who live beneath the sea. The Deep Ones of Cyran myth are generally depicted as troublemakers, with no respect for authority or propriety. In the stories that made it into popular Cyradian folklore collections, those who listen to (or worse, help) the Deep Ones usually come to regret it.
But not all the old legends made it into those collections. And Isabelle has always been one to look for the hidden side of the story.
